Project & Service Delivery Manager

Milton Keynes | £35,000 per annum, increasing to £37,500 after probation 

We are looking for a Project & Service Delivery Manager to join a leading organisation within the life sciences sector, based in Milton Keynes.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a Life Sciences, Biomedical Science or laboratory background who has project management and client-facing skills and is looking to take on a varied role combining project delivery, customer relationships and operational coordination.

About the role

You will take ownership of client projects from the initial concept and onboarding stages through to Go-Live, ensuring everything is delivered on time, to the required quality standards and in line with the client's expectations.

You'll work closely with teams across the organisation, including laboratory, sample logistics, informatics and quality, making sure projects move smoothly into day-to-day service delivery.

You will also act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and keeping them updated throughout the project and ongoing service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial concept through to implementation and Go-Live
• Coordinate activities across laboratory, logistics, informatics and quality teams
• Act as a key point of contact for clients
• Monitor project progress, timelines, SLAs and deliverables
• Identify and manage risks, issues and changes
• Provide regular project updates and reports
• Support client meetings and quarterly business reviews
• Help manage contract renewals and identify opportunities for service expansion
• Ensure projects transition smoothly into Business as Usual
• Work closely with the Quality team to ensure regulatory and quality requirements are met
• Support audits, investigations and continuous improvement activities
• Help ensure compliance with relevant standards including ISO 15189, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and HTA requirements
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain excellent client service

What we're looking for

We'd love to hear from candidates with a Life Sciences or Biomedical Science background, particularly those who have worked within a laboratory, healthcare, diagnostics, biotech or other regulated environment.

You don't necessarily need to have held the exact job title before. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Experience managing projects or workstreams from start to completion
• Excellent organisation and coordination skills
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience working across different departments and teams
• Good problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• An understanding of quality, compliance and regulated working environments
• A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership

Experience within life sciences, biomedical science, diagnostics or laboratory services would be highly desirable.
