About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple live commercial interior fit-out projects across the Midlands. You will oversee projects from initial pre-start planning through to completion, ensuring they are properly resourced, coordinated and delivered to the required standards.

The role will involve regular travel to sites and client meetings, alongside project management responsibilities from the office in Towcester.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing multiple live commercial interior fit-out projects.

• Taking projects from pre-start through to completion.

• Planning labour requirements and project programmes.

• Carrying out regular site visits and attending client meetings.

• Managing site teams and subcontractors.

• Coordinating works across different trades and project stages.

• Working closely with the Project Co-ordinator to procure materials.

• Coordinating material deliveries to ensure projects remain on programme.

• Identifying, pricing and managing project variations.

• Working alongside the Project Co-ordinator on valuations and final accounts.

• Monitoring project costs and maintaining commercial awareness.

• Resolving day-to-day site issues and keeping projects moving.

• Maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

• Maintaining accurate project records and keeping programmes up to date.

• Managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal Project Manager will have a strong background in commercial interior fit-out and a good understanding of drywall partitions, suspended ceilings and associated interior systems. You will need to be commercially aware, highly organised and confident dealing directly with clients and subcontractors.

This position would suit an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable managing several projects simultaneously and can work with minimal supervision. A practical understanding of interior fit-out and the ability to identify and resolve issues on site will be important.
