Job Description:

Salary: £36,750 - £39,990 per annum (depending on experience)

Shift Uplift: Additional 12.5% available, increasing earnings to £41,343 - £44,988

Shift Pattern:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm

This is an excellent opportunity to transfer your existing skills into the rail industry, working on the overhaul and refurbishment of modern passenger trains. You'll play a key role in transforming rail vehicles, helping deliver the safety, comfort, and quality passengers expect every day.

As a Pipe Fitter, you'll be responsible for the installation, assembly, and overhaul of pipework systems and mechanical components on passenger rail vehicles.

• Assemble and install pipework systems and mechanical components.
• Measure, cut, bend, and fit a variety of pipework materials.
• Carry out brazing and joining activities to a high standard.
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with quality and safety standards.
• Support major refurbishment and overhaul projects on passenger trains.

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Flexible approach to working rotating shift patterns.

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to pass a medical assessment, including Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Right to work in the UK.
