£13.50 per hour | Kempston, Bedford
Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
5-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Siamo Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant to join the Administration team at a busy Warehouse and Distribution Centre in Kempston, Bedford.

This is a 5-month fixed-term contract providing maternity cover, supporting the team with a variety of administration, reception and site support duties.

The site offers free on-site parking and is within walking distance of local bus stops.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and welcoming visitors and contractors
• Updating spreadsheets, schedules and reports
• Signing for deliveries and collection dockets
• Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing post
• Operating the site switchboard, screening and directing calls and taking messages
• Receiving daily company-provided lunches and carrying out kitchen checks
• Completing weekly stock checks of food supplies, stationery and high-vis clothing
• Ordering additional supplies when required
• Carrying out general administration including filing, typing, copying and scanning
• Providing general support to the wider site administration team

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, professional and approachable
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbally
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to multitask and prioritise a changing workload
• Confident solving problems and working to deadlines
• Well presented and professional
• Ideally experienced in a similar office administration or reception role
• A quick learner who is happy to get involved and support the wider team
