Maintenance Team Leader
Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
£72,225 – Including Shift Allowance
3 on 3 off Days/Nights

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance team leader with a proven background in food/beverage manufacturing to join our fast-paced manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. As a business, we have over 10 UK locations with an annual turnover well in excess of £400m, which we have reinvested into the plant.

Our facility is only 12 years old, with lots of brand-new state-of-the-art machinery, with plenty of land to expand onto with plans to nearly triple capacity over the next 5 years. Our process is fully automated with lots of technical aspects and varied work on a day-to-day basis.

Role Responsibilities include but not limited to
 

• Ensuring adherence to all health and safety procedures and policies at all times
• Lead a team of 4 shift engineers including performance management and reviews, and operational handovers
• Lead engineering/maintenance activities across the shift including asset performance to maximise OEE, continuous improvement, breakdown resolution via RCA.
• Identifying skill gaps within your team and delivering structured training plans to maximize capability of the team

Experience required
 

• Proven prior experience as a maintenance/engineering team leader from a food/beverage manufacturing environment is essential for this role
• Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 / HNC/D in a maintenance/engineering related discipline
• Proven leadership experience leading a midsized team in an industrial environment
