As a Level 1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.

• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.

• Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.

• Encourage positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing.

• Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.

• Support students with additional learning needs when required.

• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A passion for working with children and young people.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work, or similar setting is desirable but not essential.

• A willingness to learn and develop within an educational environment.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
