Job Description:

Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: £24-£25 Per hour
Start Date: Immediate
 

We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to work on a busy construction project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fire-stopping works to ensure penetrations and service openings are properly sealed and compliant with project requirements.

• Installing fire-stopping systems around service penetrations
• Sealing gaps around pipes, cables and other building services
• Applying fire-rated sealants and other approved fire-stopping materials
• Carrying out fire-stopping remedial works
• Working from drawings and site specifications
• Ensuring works are completed to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate records where required
• Working safely and keeping the work area clean and tidy

• Valid CSCS card
• Proven experience as a Fire Stopper
• Previous construction/site experience
• Good knowledge of fire-stopping systems and materials
• Relevant fire-stopping qualifications or manufacturer training preferred
• Own tools and PPE
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and professional approach

Fire Stopping experience is essential for this position.
