Job Description:

DV Cleared Project Control Officer

Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid 3 days in ofice)

Contract: 6 months +

Clearance: Active DV Clearance essential

We are looking for an experienced Project Control Officer to support a portfolio of projects within a busy engineering and operations environment.

The role will involve working closely with Project Managers and Programme Managers, providing support across project planning, reporting, financial tracking, governance and general project controls.

Due to the nature of the work, you must already hold active DV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project and Programme Managers with day-to-day project delivery
• Maintaining and updating project plans using MS Project
• Monitoring progress against agreed plans and milestones
• Tracking project costs against budgets
• Producing project and financial reports
• Supporting supplier orders and invoices
• Maintaining risks, issues, actions and project documentation
• Supporting governance and review processes
• Organising meetings, agendas, minutes and action logs
• Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders
• Following up on actions and project deliverables
• Supporting project documentation and reporting requirements

Experience Required

• Active DV Clearance
• Previous experience within Project Controls, Project Support, PMO or Project Coordination
• Strong MS Project experience
• Experience with project financials, budgets and cost tracking
• Experience managing risks, issues and project documentation
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• PRINCE2, APM or similar project management qualification
  

Previous experience within a government, defence, engineering or secure project environment would be advantageous.

Experience with Oracle financial systems would also be beneficial.
