Job Description:

📚 Distribution Operative – DayShift
 

We are currently recruiting for a Distribution Operative to join the warehouse team at a leading book manufacturing company.

This is a hands-on role within a busy distribution environment, initially focusing on sortation and post, with opportunities to support across other areas of the warehouse as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sorting books and products accurately
• Preparing and handling post and outgoing goods
• Moving stock around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading goods
• Pallet handling and general warehouse duties
• Ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team

What We're Looking For:

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience is desirable
• Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet for extended periods
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Comfortable working 12-hour dayshifts
• Comfortable standing for long hours

The Shift:

6:00am – 6:00pm
3 days on - 4 days off (including a Saturday as per rota)
