CNC Programmer - Hypermill
F1 & Motorsport
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday 8:00am-1:00pm
 
We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Hypermill experience to join a specialist engineering business working across F1 and Motorsport.
Hypermill experience is an absolute must for this role.
 
You'll be programming complex, high-precision components, with around 80% of the work involving 3+2 machining, alongside 3, 4 and 5-axis programming.
The role

• Programme 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Hypermill
• Develop and optimise programmes for complex components
• Work mainly on 3+2 machining, with some simultaneous 5-axis work
• Develop effective tooling and machining strategies
• Programme a wide range of materials
• Work closely with setters, operators and engineering
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimise programmes for quality and efficiency

What we're looking for

• Strong Hypermill experience - essential
• Proven 3, 4 or 5-axis CNC programming experience
• Strong understanding of 3+2 machining
• Experience programming complex, high-precision components
• Good knowledge of different materials and machining methods
• Experience within F1, Motorsport or another high-performance engineering environment would be highly advantageous
• A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
