Carpenter – Bedfordshire – £36,000 + Excellent Benefits

Carpenter required for a leading Housing Association in Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Carpenter looking for long-term stability, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work across a well-established social housing contract.

The Role

As a Carpenter working across Bedfordshire, you'll be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance across occupied and void social housing properties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out responsive Carpenter repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Bedfordshire.
• Responding to repair orders in tenants’ homes and communal areas.
• Repairing and replacing doors, frames, locks, architraves, skirting boards and flooring.
• Carrying out repairs to kitchens, cupboards, worktops and units.
• Repairing or replacing wooden window components and making good around frames.
• Repairing staircases, handrails, banisters and timber structures.
• Boarding up damaged doors/windows following break-ins, vandalism or emergencies.

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this Carpenter role in Bedfordshire, you'll need:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter within domestic repairs and maintenance.
• Social Housing experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence and the ability to travel across Bedfordshire.
