Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 per annum + overtime (DOE)
Employment: Full Time
 
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing HVAC service and maintenance team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ducted systems across commercial and industrial client sites.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality engineering solutions with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ducted systems
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on a range of HVAC systems
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
• Work independently on client sites and collaboratively with wider engineering teams
• Maintain strong levels of professionalism and customer service at all times

 
Essential Requirements

• F-Gas Certification (2079) – minimum Level 1 & Level 2
• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in air conditioning / HVAC
• Strong technical knowledge of installation, servicing, and maintenance
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check for unescorted access to client sites
