Account Manager

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £24,000–£26,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission

Commission: 5%–17.5%

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays

We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our growing commercial finance team in Milton Keynes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys building relationships, generating new business and working towards targets. Previous experience in commercial finance or financial services is advantageous, but candidates with a proven sales background and the right attitude are encouraged to apply.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to completion, identifying suitable commercial finance solutions and developing new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing new and existing customer enquiries
• Selling and brokering commercial finance solutions
• Qualifying customer requirements and identifying suitable funding options
• Managing leads from initial enquiry through to completion
• Generating new business through telephone, email, LinkedIn and proactive outreach
• Building strong relationships with customers, brokers, suppliers and introducers
• Reviewing customer information, financial details and credit backgrounds
• Presenting suitable funding options clearly and professionally
• Managing your sales pipeline using CRM systems
• Maintaining accurate customer records and following up opportunities
• Attending customer meetings where required

About You

We're looking for a confident and commercially minded individual who is:

• Ambitious, motivated and target-driven
• Confident making outbound calls and generating new business
• A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable managing a sales pipeline
• Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Professional and commercially aware
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in sales, financial services, commercial finance, business finance or a similar environment would be beneficial.
